Towards a Sustainable Lifestyle ResolveTrash2Cash, a registered MSME is the upfront face of the waste recycling enterprise, which was initiated in the year 2011, by the South Asian Forum for Environment, SAFE as an urban climate initiative on integrated solid waste management. Over a decade, the project on ISWM much transformed into a community-based enterprise in the art of recycling. This has a commitment to the environment and an aspiration to develop green business by leveraging circular economic interventions and lifestyle. With the potential to emerge as a promising start-up enterprise, it suffered terrible setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown. Considering that many women are engaged in the recycling handicraft enterprise, this needed oxygen support to stand up again and revamp the total system with refreshed infrastructure to achieve its long-term skill development and livelihood opportunity with a sustainable program in coming years. ResolveT2C received substantial support from its partners for ramping up the infrastructure and advanced-level skill training for women and youth artisans. The program specializes in creating and offering livelihood opportunities for unemployed marginal women and youth in urban clusters. It focuses on creating and offering a variety of micro-utility household products reusing and recycling waste paper, textile wastes, and plastic through an entrepreneurship model. We gratefully thank the corporate partners for extending financial support to RT2C artisans in the Pandemic times, while it was facing its worst crisis due to lockdown, this timely support saves the aspirations of the first-generation artisans in the art of recycling.
