How do we work?
Our products and services revolve under 3 key frameworks for action, a) Handling large amount of waste for recycling and repurposing. b) implementing environmentally sound management of waste as a secondary resource, c) Cyclic design innovations towards a circular economy. To reduce the global waste initiative to reduce waste by 50% by 2050, introduced by the COP-27 Presidency, the principal line of action to be taken is to Reduce, Recycle, Recover, and Repurpose by design. This initiative helps provide a steady and compassionate route for marginal unemployed women and youth toward an organized livelihood program.
The functional steps, incorporate raw resource inputs from collected waste while the operational components entail the installation of recycling equipment, laying out the production chain, and establishing market linkage for product mobilization. Training, financial inclusion, and strengthening local institutions are the central tenets of the intervention. Also, in time introducing sustainable packaging alternatives from biodegradable waste recycled materials.

ResolveTrash2Cash, a registered MSME is the upfront face of the waste recycling enterprise, which was initiated in the year 2011, by the South Asian Forum for Environment, SAFE as an urban climate initiative on integrated solid waste management.

ResolveT2C is one of its kind micro-enterprises in India to bring, a diverse range of handcrafted utility products manufactured from recycling waste. The recycling craft enterprise has tremendous potential of growth.
Currently, Resolve T2C has established collaboration with Indian Institute of Packaging, and the certifications of sustainable packaging products. The enterprise manufactured products is achieving a growing acceptance and demand in the market. The products are futuristic and caters to the needs and demand of the changing time and lifestyle.

Waste collection and Audit:
The enterprise currently has the capacity to handle 10,000 kg of Solid Waste, from various corporate offices, institutions in cities.
The secondary usage of waste is recovered using by high skilled artisans, ResolveT2C under the process of infrastructural upgradation to handle a higher volume of waste.
ResolveT2C team, collects waste in segregated from different, institutes, and residences, and provides recycling report with a waste audit certificate. At the same time ResolveT2C conducts recycling awareness campaigns, and creative workshops for recycling enthusiasts and students at large.

Earth-friendly Pots for sustainable gardening
While plastic packets, known as ‘Grow bags’ are widely used for plant transportation and saplings preparation, it is observed that tons of plastic wastes are generated, as after the plantation the grow bags are discarded. The Resolve Trash to Cash, an urban climate waste recycling initiative of the South Asian Forum for Environment, SAFE in collaboration with GRACE Pvt. Ltd, introduces biodegradable pots, made with plant residual waste, and organic manures.
The biodegradable pots manufactured by trained women artisans bring a new earth-friendly option for starting seedlings or developing plant nurseries. These organic pots can go directly into the soil, then the pot will break down naturally adding more nourishment into the soil. This creates a sustainable lifestyle opportunity in practice and is a way to adopt an eco-friendly option, replacing the conventional plastic grow bags.
The ‘Green pots’ are available in 4inches and 8 inches sizes and it’s ideal for nurseries, and gardening at any scale.
How do Biodegradable Pots work?
The pots along with seedlings or saplings can be planted directly into the soil, and the organic manure will add nourishment to the plant.
How sustainable it is?
The pots encourage a zero-waste procedure in the gardening process, reducing the use of plastic. The plant sapling’s survival is more ensured, as plant roots don’t get disturbed, and once planted it brings natural nutrition to the soil.
How long biodegradable pots can hold the saplings?
This in a way means how long the biodegradable pots will take to break down, well the answer is once it is already planted in the soil, it will break down faster, and become soil again. However, at the sapling preparation stage, it can stay for a month, and after the plant-able size of saplings is achieved it can directly go into the soil. Even after a month, in case the pots start breaking down at the saplings or seedlings stage, nothing to worry about, new pots can continue to hold the saplings, and old pots can be used as organic manure in the soil.
